I wrote a bunch of “What Boffin is saying …” posts to bridge the gap. My job was not to be the Diva, but to make sure the audience — the whole audience — got to enjoy the show.

In a lot of instances (such as you outlined above), people don’t truly understand the nature of a problem because they tend to allow their emotions to define it for them. Best thing to do in order to solve a problem is to strip away all emotion and look at it from a purely logical perspective.

Well, I don’t think there is anything worng with being particular about the way you like your tea, I am much the same. HONESTLY. If the real intent was just to get geometric grill patterns then they should design JUST the grate because the rest of their design makes little sense to someone who actually grills. The lid is essential in grilling. This one is basically unusable. NO control of air flow, which is crucial. That grate would be a pain in the a$% to clean after using it more than once… That all being said, it’s definitely… handsome.

Oh man this book looks awesome! My most recent kitchen disaster involved brewing kombucha. As you know the kombucha tea has to be someplace dark and warm so I had it high on the cabinets beyond reach (and so I was not tempted to check on it too often). When I DID go to check it I knocked over the mason jar it was in and it seemed vingerary sweet tea all through my cabinets and dishes. Needless to say I had to wash every single one, the cabinet, and start my brew over again!

Paula most of the clothes I had originally made so I had off cuts – as for other clothes from the early stages of our marriage we were so broke we had nothing worth donating! In fact for years I found secondhand skirts and things from thrift shops and re-cut them for my daughters clothes. I could not afford new material. I still recycle fabrics and I don’t have things like wedding dresses because we got married in a registras office . So no I have no hesitation in cutting up clothes I have done it for years.

I also felt like something was wrong with me for not wanting another child – as if I was missing some inherently maternal aspect, despite already having one child. It took me a long time and a lot of soul-searching to realize that wasn’t the case.
